Charlotte needs to read more!

As part of the "Charlotte needs to read more" campaign I have decided to read all 100 books on the "Angus and Robertson Top 100 books" list. Of course it helps that I have already read 26 of the books on that list but there are still 74 to go.

The first book I am reading is "The Catcher in the Rye" by J.D. Sallinger and once I have finished it I will post a review on this here charming blog of mine and also tell you what the next book is that i will be reading.

Maybe we could get an on-line book club happening?

In between Biology, Physiology and, as a bludge, Philosophy text readings I sneak in the Complete Works of Shakespeare. Maybe a little better then some shite top twenty book list????? Perhaps Chuckles needs to read THAT first?

(Apologies if you have.)

However eclipsing all of that crap is the brilliant 'The Road to Copenhagen' by yours truly.

Ill email you a (COPYRIGHTED!) version if you like, where you will have permission to print out one copy for private reading.
Still better then some shite top 20 book list. AND You get to bask in the genius that is me.

What do you say??????

Well Tomorrow When the War Began is apparently on that list as well as the list was in the giftshop of Temptation yesterday. Well all the books as well, not just the list. Wouldn't b very tempting now would it?

Anyway if you haven't read that one I suggest you steer clear. Stupid school enforced text. It was a little juvenile and unrealisitc but not too bad but the sequel was shite and the sequel to that ( Hey it had a ship blowing up on the cover!) even shiter and the sequel to that (Darkness, be my friend. As if that isn't a cool title!) even worse. I stopped there. But I heard the trend of shite continued to an anti-climatic shite ending.

Hmmm. At least it was consistent I suppose. Hey Audrey u can have a copy just get Chuckles to email u the email I sent of my copy to her. PG OUT

PG out... interesting...

Maybe I need a short sig too. Something less military than PG's.

Something like...

"... Pablo vanish!"

"Catcher in the Rye" is quite enjoyable... though I'd recommend "Fight Club" above it, regardless of whether or not it made the top 100 cut.

Everything else I've read of Palahniuk's had either been interesting-but-crap, crap, or interesting-and-crap.

Fight Club is just freakin' awesome.

pablo you'll be glad to know that "fight Club" made the top 100 so I'll be reading that at some point.
